Meet Dr. Estonna Wells-Jarrett

Dr. Wells-Jarrett is a senior partner at Sandy Springs Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, P. C. She joined the practice in 2000. She has provided general pediatric care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years of age for the past 25 years.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree with honors from the College of Charleston. She received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric internship and residency at The University of Texas South West Medical Center at Dallas/Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Wells-Jarrett has received recognition for her work in the medical field. She was featured as an Atlanta Parent Magazine, Mom Approved Pediatrician: 2015, 2018 and 2019 . She was a 2021 Who’s Who In Black Atlanta honoree for her contribution in medicine in her community. She has been featured in prior publications of Who’s Who in Black Atlanta in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012 . She is also listed nationally as a 2021 Top Pediatrician in Top Doctor Magazine.

Nationally, she has made an impact by providing information regarding the COVID Vaccine for children via radio talk shows/podcasts :1 local and 2 national broadcast programs. This campaign was sponsored by our country’s USA Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Wells -Jarrett has a heart for special needs patients . Her experience as a mother of a child with a disability has really shaped her connections to patient families with similar circumstances. Although her daughter is no longer with us , she has continued her legacy with the continued support of the MDE School.

Dr. Wells-Jarrett enjoys participating in community service projects and is an active participant in her beloved sorority of 35 years, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She enjoys teaching and mentoring students as they prepare for careers in the medical field. She enjoys dancing and reading.
